A product evaluation should make clear what was checked, how it was checked, and what remains unknown.
Document the exact model
Each new evaluation identifies the device and configuration, intended reader decision, current source documents and applicable regulatory checks.
Distinguish research from testing
A documentation-based evaluation is labeled as such. Hands-on claims require a real test record, actual observations, conditions, limitations and original evidence. Generated images and merchant photographs are not testing evidence.
Compare like with like
Specifications, components, accessibility and ownership details must be attributed to supporting documentation. Product features do not establish individual clinical benefit.
Show uncertainty
Unverified compatibility, performance, availability, regulatory or population-specific claims remain unresolved. No score, rating, testimonial or reviewer credential is fabricated.
Keep referrals transparent
Commercial relationships and affiliate links require appropriate disclosure. They do not determine whether a product is suitable for an individual.
