For an OM-1125-8 order, keep the complete part number in view. Southmedic’s table names that row Oxy2Mask Adult, with seven-foot oxygen tubing and a single elastic. The offer discussed here uses OxyMask naming. That difference needs a supplier explanation; a familiar code does not by itself authenticate the version a retailer will supply.

Compare each option by its own row

The OM-1125-8 row lists 25 per box. The same table separately lists a 14-foot adult option, an adult ear-elastic version, Plus products and Kid and Tyke products. Do not combine those alternatives into a single adult-mask specification.

Ask the supplier which exact product and label belong to your proposed order. If the response names a different tubing length, elastic arrangement or patient category, have that difference assessed rather than assuming an equivalent substitution.

Also confirm the selected count. A retailer’s individual unit or small pack is not automatically the manufacturer’s 25-count box. The table cannot establish handling, authenticity or current contents of a smaller retail package.

An open design is not a patient result

Southmedic describes an open oxygen-mask design with diffuser technology. That identifies manufacturer design language, not a Breathwell measurement of delivered oxygen, carbon-dioxide clearance or superiority over another interface.

Ask the treating team and equipment supplier why the identified mask is appropriate for the intended arrangement and which actual instructions apply. This article supplies no fitting maneuver, treatment substitution rule or concentration target.

Do not independently stop or change oxygen flow. Neither the open appearance nor a broad concentration claim selects a prescribed setting. A component identity and clinical adequacy are separate findings.

Get the version answer before the purchase verdict

FDA recommends asking the doctor or supplier questions about a home device and taking notes. For this offer, useful notes would identify the supplied version, OM-1125-8 label, intended patient and applicable instructions, as well as the selected quantity.

No exact-device regulatory review, seal test or patient comfort assessment was completed by Breathwell. Current retail stock and OxyMask-to-Oxy2Mask version equivalence remain unverified.

The manufacturer table narrows the order question considerably. It does not close the buying decision for a unit that has not been matched to that row and the prescribed setup. Keep the verdict open until the actual item and current directions can be assessed.

Evidence and limits

Southmedic’s actual product table and design description support bounded attribution. The current Oxy2Mask name is not silently assigned to an archived OxyMask shipment; no numerical delivery or clinical result is asserted.
