A joint rotating and a joint maintaining an appropriate oxygen connection are different questions. Ask about the whole joint
Give the supplier the proposed connector and the actual components on either side. Ask whether an added joint is permitted in that arrangement and which instructions establish the match.

A tangle problem deserves assessment, not a guessed repair
The American Lung Association directs users to their oxygen supplier’s safe-use instructions. Describe where the twisting happens and what changed. The supplier can then address the actual arrangement rather than a generic accessory promise.
Do not independently change prescribed oxygen flow. Adding a connector is not permission to compensate with a new setting. The buying decision stays unresolved until the exact joint and system match are documented; no fall-prevention, uninterrupted-delivery or clinical benefit is established by this review.
